Terms of use
These terms apply to the Legcast browser extension, its overlay files and this website. By installing or using Legcast you agree to them.
1. What Legcast is
Legcast is software that reads your DartCounter match in your browser and shows it in OBS Studio on your own computer. Legcast is an independent product. It is not made by, endorsed by or officially connected to Target Darts, DartCounter, OBS, Spotify, TikTok, YouTube or Twitch. Omni is a trademark of Target Darts. All other names belong to their owners.
2. Free trial
After installing you get 14 days of everything in Pro for free, without payment details. After the trial the overlay stops until you add a licence key. Your settings and stats stay.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Legcast is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription (Basic, Premium or Pro). The prices on the pricing section include VAT.
- Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as merchant of record. Polar's terms apply to the purchase itself, including invoices, VAT and payment methods.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time through the link in your Polar email or customer portal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- For refunds or billing questions, use the contact form and we'll sort it out with you. Your legal rights as a consumer always apply.
- We may change prices for new periods. We tell existing subscribers by email at least 30 days before a change affects them, so they can cancel first.
4. Your licence
A licence key is personal and works on up to two computers at the same time. You can move it to a new computer yourself. You may not share, resell or publish your key, and you may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer Legcast or remove its licence check. We may block a key that is clearly being misused.
5. Your stream is yours
You are responsible for what you broadcast, and for following the rules of the platform you stream on and of DartCounter. Your opponent's camera image belongs to your opponent: ask them before you put it on your stream, or switch it off in the settings. Music you play on stream must be allowed by the platform; showing a song title with "Now playing" doesn't give you any rights to the music.
6. Availability and updates
We work hard to keep Legcast working, but it depends on other software (DartCounter, Chrome, OBS) that can change without notice. When something breaks after such a change we aim to fix it quickly, but we can't promise that Legcast will always work without interruption. Updates arrive through the Chrome Web Store.
7. Liability
Legcast is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage such as a lost stream, lost viewers or lost income, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Legcast in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for your subscription, we tell you by email.
9. Law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
